Job Responsibilities:
Coordinating, planning and ensuring successful execution of Client’s training programs (e.g., Summer Intern Training, Full-Time Training, Lateral New Hire Training, Direct Promote Training, Global Officer Training, Continuing Education Training), including:
Creating training schedules for all of Client’s training programs and appointing training session leaders
Assigning new joiners to onboarding learning paths and sharing relevant training materials with new joiners
Contracting with third-party training vendors to lead coaching sessions, as needed
Coordinating travel, lodging and logistics for new hires traveling to Client-Chicago for training programs, as needed
Liaising with product group leaders to ensure onboarding training schedules reflect industry-specific training
Supporting the execution of Client University, the firm’s global corporate university, including:
Liaising with global Executive Sponsors and Program Managers regarding local office training and programming
Working with the Talent team in developing the firm’s training and development strategy and tactics
Maintaining globally centralized record of local programming, including quarterly continuing education, third-party coaching, and regulatory and compliance training by office
Maintaining accurate system reporting in Client U Online to enable year-end reporting on individual employee training activities
Analyzing annual employee education plans for all global offices and making recommendations on training topics
Tracking and reporting on Client University outcomes (e.g., local adoption, utilization)
Managing the Client University email inbox and answering any employee questions related to Client University
Supporting Client’s Learning Management System, including:
Serving as a subject matter expert for Client’s Learning Management System (“LMS”, “ClientU Online”)
Gathering user feedback domestically and globally, and coordinating with Client’s LMS provider to make enhancements to the site and report technical support issues
Building custom courses and scheduling training sessions in Client’s U Online for all global offices
Managing and updating global training content for Client’s U Online
Creating new user accounts in Client’s U Online and assigning relevant training material
Training employees on proper use of the
Requirements:
Minimum one to two years of experience in training or another relevant field
Strong writing, verbal communication and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience in LMS software management, strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree
