Project Description:

The Commercial Training and Development Department is looking for two summer interns that will gain hands-on experience in an exciting, fast-paced environment. You will gain an understanding of multiple roles and functions in the Commercial Training and Development. You will be directly involved with assisting training managers with Curriculum Development. This may include designing, developing, and recommending training curricula and workshops based on adult learning principles for our commercial field teams. It can also include interviews, needs assessments and instructional design. There is also an emphasis on new micro learning content and application for this position. You will also learn the importance of collaboration across internal/external stakeholders.

• Achieving a general understanding of what happens in our global organization
• Completing hands-on project work that has an impact on the business

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be enrolled in an academic program pursuing a Masters in Training and Development, Curriculum and Instruction, Corporate Training, Instructional Design or related degree. Skilled in MS Office Suite. A passion for education and interest in science is desired.  A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred. We want someone who is able to commit to 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks from the end of May/ early June through August. Demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or within the community is also preferred.
