Description
The Clinical Applications Trainer is responsible for promoting technology solutions to existing and prospective clients. This position includes leading the full sales cycle for moving existing clients from outreach, to presentation, to legal and financial communication as well as negotiation. Additionally, the position requires setting and maintaining a schedule for procuring data elements, and guiding clients through the initial steps of the implementation process. The Clinical Applications Trainer will work closely with Systems Integration, Pricing Committee, Legal, Implementation, Account Management, Sales and other team members to ensure successful implementation.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the clinical applications trainer:
Manage the outbound and inbound existing client sales cycle related to technology offerings
Develop and implement account penetration strategies and tactics in order to realize both corporate and customer objectives
Provide daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports regarding goal attainment, client meeting/contacts, sales cycle data/information and other reports required by direct manager and executive team
Prospecting, warm/cold calling, business letter writing, e-mail communications, provision of follow-up materials (references, sample information, utilization analysis... ), due diligence data collection, coordinating efforts of other departments as needed
Work with Implementation and other support departments to successfully implement internal and external clients on E3/DoseSpot and other platforms as requested
Document all stages of sales cycle in CRM application(Salesforce)
Obtain and surpass assigned census and utilization targets as outlined
Work in tandem with Sales, Account Management and Client Relations to schedule meetings and calls with clients to drive the sales process
Schedule calls with clients to present the service options available based on EMR and ePrescription vendors and confirm requirements
Schedule meetings and communicate regularly with staff at Enclara Pharmacia and the hospice as necessary
Attend state meetings as needed or upon request
Attend national hospice meetings as needed or upon request

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 5 years of healthcare, account management, or sales experience, preferably healthcare related
Experience in a healthcare quality, training, or leadership role
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft office products and ability to use a laptop and remote connectivity
Ability to travel overnight up to 3 days/week
Preferred Qualifications
Licensed Nurse, strongly preferred.
Experience with SalesForce application
Extensive healthcare experience in hospice
