Description

The Senior Learning Facilitation Professional conducts or facilitates training courses for organization employees or external audiences. The Senior Learning Facilitation Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Learning Facilitation Professional:


Plans, coordinates, and implements all aspects of training programs for participants throughout the organization, including but not limited to instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training.
Selects appropriate materials, analyzing the instructional goals of the organization to respond to competency gaps caused by lack of knowledge and skills, identifying the target audience characteristics and the required resources to develop training material.
Creates an environment that is conducive to learning and exchanging information, engages the learner, and produces the desired outcomes.
Ability to create a remote office environment conducive to live training delivery. This includes quality internet connection that can support video sharing and computer audio and a professional backdrop which limits visual and audio disruptions for learners.
Monitors, maintains and updates training personnel records to ensure that employees fulfill all department and enterprise training requirements.
Identify associate performance risks through role situational practicum; by observing and documenting behavioral as well as performance trends that pose a risk to attendance, performance, technical skills and expectations of the associate's assigned role.
Analyzes course evaluations and performance output in order to measure the effectiveness of the training curriculum and uses the data to provide and implement business solutions.
Evaluates the relevance of resources to complement the virtual and instructor led training experience as appropriate.
Expected to deliver, frame, author and position content by introducing new training methodologies that promote patient safety, member advocacy and compliance adherence.
Promotes and positively influences the department's strategy and culture. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed with positive intent and self-initiative.
Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments increasing the organization's overall performance, learners speed to proficiency and reducing patient and compliance risks.


Required Qualifications


2 years of training or learning development experience in a corporate environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Publisher, Visio.
Solid understanding of taxonomy of learning outcomes related to the domains of learning (Cognitive, Affective and Psychomotor).
Experience using a wide variety of training tools to effectively facilitate to a wide audience.
Prior work experience with designing training, learning modules and/or materials to increase content conceptualization.
Adept in using technology and facilitation techniques to influence the content knowledge and development of learners through virtual settings.
Knowledge of learner-centric instructional design and learning technologies, as well as adult learning principles.
Excellent communication and written skills. The ability to clearly and effectively communicate with leaders, team members, learners and other associates in the organization.

Communicating observed learning, performance and/or behavioral patterns
Ability to work well independently and with a team.

Work At Home (WAH) - Please note this permanent position allows you to work at home indefinitely.
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required. A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information and promote an environment conducive to learning.


Preferred Qualifications


Advanced Degree in one of the following areas: Learning and Performance; Education, Psychology or related fields.
Understanding of curriculum design principles.
Experience using a wide variety of training tools to effectively facilitate to a wide audience.
Experience managing projects or processes.
Prior work experience using moderately complex to complex instructional design tools such as learning management systems, video editing software, storyline and coding platforms


Additional Information

Location: This permanent job is working from Home.

Hours: The hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-8pm EST, with flexibility outside of regular hours, including after hours and weekends in order to meet business and CMS required demands.

Training: Initial training is a Total of 10 weeks (Combination of theory and practicum). Weekend or after hours training may occur based on CMS changes or Regulatory Compliance requirements.

Travel: There is 25-30% travel required based on team seminars and development/strategy sessions frequency. Continued self-education and training will be required to succeed in this job.

No Vacation for the first 90 days of employment: Due to training requirements, no vacations are permitted for the first 90 days of employment.

Video Interviews: As part of our hiring process, we will be using an exciting interviewing technology provided by ModernHire, a third-party vendor.

As a work at home (WAH) position, Humana will be deploying virtual and video technologies for all hiring activities. Requirements include access to a personal computing device with a camera, a minimum internet connection speed of 10m x 1m, and a dedicated secure home workspace for interview or work purposes.
