*This position offers a $500.00 hiring bonus paid upon completion of successful employment after 90 days and an additional $500.00 bonus paid upon completion of successful employment after 180 days. *
This position starts at $20.00/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. We have an open position for first shift .

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for Team Member orientation and continued training of Tyson policies and procedures for all Team Members. Responsibilities include facilitation of orientation classes and other trainings designated by Tyson Foods, ensure all Team Member documentation is completed in a timely manner and submitted to their file; accurately track time and attendance of Team members while in orientation or scheduled trainings.
Other duties include:
Monitors and guides trainee performance thru the qualification period, ensuring they follow the ramp in program.
Works with the on-the-job trainer (Buddy) to ensure the new team member is learning the job skills required to work independently and serve as backups for Buddy’s as needed.
Educates Team Members of USDA, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and sanitation rules and regulations on the job.
Coordinates and delivers training.
Coordinates with the supervisor and management concerning training progress.
Updates internal transfer training spreadsheets – tracking internal job transfers and training process.
Facilitates Alchemy Training and reporting.
Monitors and advises of workplace safety and safety habits.
Assess the need for interpreters in various departments for communications clarity and coordinate the assistance of the interpreter;
Assist in acclimating Team Members in and around the confines of the facility and with the qualification process
Partnering with CI to improve training processes, standardization, and impact. Including use of standard work instructions, building and maintaining standard work instruction library for training use.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.Experience: Knowledge and understanding of the food manufacturing processes. Previous training/facilitation experience preferredComputer Skills: Standard computer skills - Outlook, Word, Excel,& PowerPoint. Alchemy experience preferred.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Bilingual preferred.Must be able to speak, read and write English at a level to effectively communicate company policies and procedures during orientation.Special Skills: Must be comfortable in presenting material to large groups; strong organizational skills.Travel: Some travel may be required.
