WHO WE ARE
The Staff Success Center, a part of the University of Cincinnati's Human Resources department, is part of a Presidential initiative responsible for the professional development of staff at the university. Our team conducts instructor-led professional development and technical education workshops, develops e-learning modules and instructional videos, creates training documentation, and works with individual teams for custom training and team-building needs.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Staff Success Center is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to assist with the operational and logistical needs of the team. Reporting to the Assistant Director of the Staff Success Center, this position will be responsible for administrative and clerical duties related to the successful delivery of training and development programs. This position will also provide some administrative support to UC's Staff Senate. This is a full-time, 100% FTE position in the Staff Success Center, responsible for clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of training and development programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Schedule training events and workshops, coordinate with instructors, obtain and distribute required instructional materials, and communicate schedules and details *Communicate with University of Cincinnati employees, trainers from external organizations, professional training group members, and consultants via phone, correspondence, or in person *Process enrollments and answer routine inquiries regarding courses, schedules, and locations *May utilize HR information system and/or database to enter data and produce reports on training statistics, inventory levels or assessments of the programs or instructors *Participate in special projects related to Training and Development and/or Human Resources Serve on appropriate HR and university committees *Must maintain confidentiality with high level of integrity. Responsible for accurate and timely storage of HR-related documents in accordance with UC's Records Retention Schedule. *Perform related duties based on departmental need. REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
One (1) year of professional work experience.
