Job Details:
This position starts at $23.30/hour with a sign-on bonus of $2,250 and potential for overtime. We have an open position for first shift.

This facility operates five days a week and produces Barber Foods Stuffed Chicken Breast products.
Under general supervision, monitors and guides trainee performance. Employees in this job will train team members to learn the safest practices, best production techniques, and to understand quality control, while interacting with management on a regular basis. This job requires knowledge of the process workflow and production in the locations manufacturing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trains and develops workforce.
Coordinates training, trains, and monitors trainees to assure quality of work and progression towards qualification.
Ensures adherence to procedures, regulations and guidelines while minimizing errors and safety risks.
Tracks tardiness, absenteeism, and availability of trainees.
Observes behavior of trainees while performing job and responds to potential problems towards the qualification process, and to ensure the safety of individuals.
Creates a variety of documents including One Point Lessons, Standard Operating Procedures, and various training materials.
Must be able to work and accomplish job tasks without constant supervision along with the ability to improve team member morale.
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or G.E.D
One year of related prior work experience in manufacturing or production
Familiar with production departmental operations, organization policies, applicable laws, procedures, and processes
Knowledge of specialized departmental equipment operation including forklifts, pallet jacks, push carts, scales, and production packaging equipment
Ability to effectively train and direct the workforce to meet production goals and departmental goals/objectives in a high-volume department
Mathematical ability including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities
Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills.
May be required to stand, and/or walk, bend and/or stoop, for long periods.
Lift boxes or equipment up to 25 pounds.
Sit at a computer and type for periods of time.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Must be able to present information and respond to questions from management and others.
Ability to build effective working relationships with management and trainees.
Computer literacy and the skill to operate specialized software related to departmental operations including Internet, spreadsheet, and word processing programs or the ability to learn the programs.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends.
