What We’re Looking For:
The Sr. Manager, Learning and Facilitation reports to the SVP, Employee Relations, Learning & Operations, and oversees the development and deployment of professional development learning programs for the organization. This role will develop and ensure alignment of all training strategies and policies to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the training for the organization and support a culture of continuous learning. This role leads the Facilitation, Graphic Design, and Instructional Design training functions within HR. They also manage the external vendors including LMS and other training support providers.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Partner with 2U leadership and HRBPs to conduct training needs analysis, determine development gaps, and devise training goals and outcomes that are aligned to strategic 2U priorities. These include new on-demand solutions and long-term projects, which are managed by the Sr. Manager.
Ensure existing training programs (e.g. New Hire Orientation, Leadership Development Tracks, etc.) are connected to identified HR and 2U outcomes.
Architects the learning curriculum and the design of new courses ensuring high-quality learning standards and application of best practices in learning solutions.
Oversee the development and iteration process of ILT/VLT courses and eLearning content by leveraging the expertise and skills of the Facilitation, Instructional Design, and Graphic Design team members.
Manage the administration and usage of the Learning Management System and LinkedIn Learning as strategic learning pathways for the organization.
Provide supervision, resources, and performance management to Facilitators, HRIS Training Coordinator, Graphic Designers, and Instructional Designer.
Ensure team alignment with identified best practices for global training functions with existing and newly acquired companies.
Oversee deployment of compliance courses to ensure 2U is able to meet its legal and regulatory requirements as it relates to compliance training.
Maintain existing vendor relationships and resolve issues as needed. Lead the selection process for new vendors by conducting research, analyzing solutions, and negotiating terms of service.
Develop and manage annual training budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
Advanced degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or related discipline preferred.
8 years of experience in training and development, designing and creating curriculum, and delivering training for adult learners.
3-5 years of experience leading a training function or related team.
Demonstrated knowledge with instructional objectives and strategies, blended learning solutions (including eLearning, Instructor-led, and Virtual-led training), LMS administration, and measurement standards.
Project management skills
Excellent verbal communication and business writing skills.
